Unwind, Become & Stuck are the latest releases from the genre-hopping creator, William Florelle. His previous release Vessel / Sometimes on Groovence [FR] received high praise, featuring on Le Mellotron, BBC Radio 1, Radio 6 Music, and Oxigenio [PT]. It also garnered DJ support from Osunlade, Jimpster, Tom Ravenscroft, and many more.

Unwind, Become comes in at a slower tempo and possesses a grounding low-end rounded off by the SH101, the chant on top “Feel, now, do you? The air the clouds, our realm. This ground we own is sacred.” This track was polished off at Village Underground Studios, Lisbon, during the tail-end of the lockdown. Stuck, on the other hand, speeds things up and introduces more of a broken beat groove, sleazier vocals, and Latin guitar elements. This one was written and wrapped up at the WotNot Music studio, located in the Total Refreshment Centre, London.

William Florelle continues to explore his sound as a record producer, bouncing from club-focused tracks, R&B, and whatever lies elsewhere. In 2023, he is set to DJ at the Djoon Club (Paris) in March and further develop his live set which he introduced to Lisbon’s Arroz Studios in 2022 and features elements from his well-received debut EP, Two & Three (WotNot).
